Safer Hands Healthcare holds a UK Sponsor Licence under the Skilled Worker Route, which enables employment of health and social care staff from outside the United Kingdom. We are currently recruiting staff who will reside and work in the following localities:

*****Safer Hands Healthcare DOES NOT charge for referral, Application Forms and for Certificate of Sponsorship. Swivel Healthcare pays in full, the cost of Certificate of Sponsorship and Immigration Surcharge.

***** Visas are processed and issued by the Home Office, therefore the final decision to grant a visa is based on candidates successfully meeting the Home Office requirements. We strongly advise that candidates make the necessary enquiries before they start the application process.

*****Prospective candidates should NOT pay any money to an individual or agent presenting themselves as affiliated to Swivel Healthcare. Safer hands Healthcare will not take any responsibility for any individual that is scammed by bogus agents.

***** If Safer Hands Healthcare discovers that a candidate has withheld/ did not disclose any criminal record or that they provided false or misleading event that the candidate has progressed past the stage of commencing the online training. Safer Hands Healthcare will not refund the training and administration fee.

*****Recognised contact details of any agent working on behalf of Safer Hands to support prospective candidates with their training and onboarding process, will be communicated to the candidate by Safer Hands Human Resources department.

*****We will take necessary legal action against any individual or company that charge prospective candidates for referring them to Safer Hands Healthcare. We consider this as a fraudulent activity.

*****Our recruitment process can take up to 12 weeks.

******We follow a five-stage recruitment process.

Recruitment Process

Stage 1
Candidate should send the following documents-
  1. CV

  2. Completed Safer Hands application form.

  3. Evidence of police clearance from country of residence and/or country of origin

  4. Evidence of passed IELTS/ English Test

  5. Completion of Care training or evidence of care work undertaken in a regulated work establishment

  6. Proof of COVID vaccinations

  7. Names of referees for the last 5 years where one must include your line manager for your current or last position (this should be identified on your CV and application form)

  8. Passport size picture of yourself for ID purposes

  9. Copy of a valid passport

  10. Evidence of TB test result

  11. Driving License with at least 3 years post qualifying experience

***All requested information for Stage 1 should be attached to one email. We will not process any application presented otherwise.

Stage 2

Upon receipt of the candidate’s documents, our team will verify and review all information sent. If shortlisted, this will involve an interview with the prospective candidate. If we are satisfied, the candidate will be offered a conditional offer of employment (subject to satisfactory references and completion/passing of all training modules). When a conditional offer of employment is made, the candidate will be notified and advised to make payment for their specialist training and administration costs. We advise that you ensure that you have funds available before you send in your application form. If successful, the offer of employment can be offered within 3 days from submission of application. Please note that the recruitment team will only respond to applications for successful candidates.

OUR FEES AND CHARGES

Safer Hands Healthcare reserves the right to charge for administration and online training which gives candidates access to 42 online mandatory and specialist training modules offered by Swivel Healthcare Ltd. The cost of this is £2450. Please note that this is non-refundable. Upon receipt of evidence of payment to Safer Hands Healthcare’s nominated account, candidates will be sent login details. Candidate is expected to complete all your training in 3 weeks. Please note that this is the only payment that you need to make to Safer Hands Healthcare.

Stage 3

Candidates will be invited to a meeting with the Directors of Safer Hands Healthcare. This will be via Microsoft Teams.

Candidate should provide evidence of the following:

  • Funds available in their account to pay for their flight

  • Funds available in their account for at least one month’s living expenses, equivalent to £1500 (these are living expenses for the first month, upon arrival)

Stage 4

Upon successful interview and job offer, Safer Hands Healthcare will issue an Employment Contract and a Certificate of Sponsorship upon receipt of the signed contract.

***Candidate is expected to notify Safer Hands Healthcare within 24 hours of collecting their passport containing their visa

***Candidate is expected to confirm their travel arrangements within 48 hours of obtaining their visa. The travel date must be within agreed time frame discussed at interview stage.

Stage 5

Safer Hands Healthcare will support with sourcing of appropriate UK accommodation, if required. Candidate is expected to have funds to pay for their accommodation (first months living expenses, equivalent to £1500, will enable the candidate to pay their rent, rental deposit, pay for foods and any start up provisions).
